Boil the half milk with half the water and blanch the spinach in it for 2 minutes and puree after getting cold.

Heat the butter in a pan, add the onions and garlic and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

Add spinach puree with the Remaining half milk and half water. Keep it on a simmer flame for about 10 minutes and keep stirring in between.
